So much to do... so little time

Do you ever feel that there is a whole world of stuff to do and just not enough hours in the day to get the things done? I feel like that all the time. No matter how much I organise and arrange to do things the list keeps on growing and it is a constant vicious circle. How i wish i was a witch.... now i said witch not B*tch but i take that on board too as i am doing fairly well with that status but just to blink the eyes or twitch my nose and all the stuff is done. I found myself having a ciggy yesterday out the front of the house on the bench and i couldn't even finish my ciggy without having to pick up the papers which lay in the garden. Have i a problem... am i over obsessive or am i just being a Monica? I would love to be able to relax a bit and just leave stuff but i cant as if i dont do it then the list becomes longer and the vicious circle comes back at me with more and more and more..... I swear i am not mad people......

Come on South Africa

Hurray for South Africa..... Winning the rugby world cup and my other half is very happy and will be collecting his winnings from the bro in law soon. Delighted for them and also for Argentina on Friday night as they put in a tremendous performance......
the Poor English what can I say..... ha ha ha ha

Only 10 weeks to Christmas..

So what its only 10 weeks to christmas yet come on we haven't even passed halloween yet. Seems that loads of people are doing their christmas shopping now (including myself) but i do think its a little early to be putting all the christmas decorations into the stores just yet.

I mean in Dunnes there is halloween stuff at one side which i can understand but then christmast lights and decorations on the other. Give us a chance to get over one holiday first would you people.

I think i will have to just start sending €5 per person to a family somewhere in a less well off world cause trying to think what to buy people is just a nightmare. I would love to see their faces if they got a lovely christmas card advising that €5 or something has been donated to a family in need as their christmas present. Could you imagine their faces? Has everything come down to materialistic things these days? where is the real spirit of christmas gone?

Monday's Over

Thanks the Lord for that. I hate Mondays but thankfully I will be out of work here in the next 20 minutes which is great. Had quite a bit to do here today but got it all done without too much huffing and puffing and giving out as I usually do.
The guys here are thankful for that I think. Anyway only 4 more days of work this week to go hurray and I'm not on call....... the joys oh the joys

Come on South Aftrica

Well well it seems to be an England V South Africa Final for the Rugby World Cup. I am cheering for South Africa due to the fact that:-
  1. Hubby has them in the pool and as he says "show me the money"
  2. I would much prefer them to win than who they are playing....... (if you get my drift)

My brother in law has England in the pool so it should be a good ole game with the two boys wanting the money..... Hope there is some good playing now and not as bad as the england V France match the other night. That wasn't too good at all so I heard loads of people saying.

Send a message to be read in the future

Here you can enter a message to be read in the future. LOL what do you tell your decendants seriously..... Hey I used to live on this planet back in the day. There was terrorism, global warming, poverty, etc etc. Who knows with all the global warming if anyone would ever get to read it anyway.

Wispa's are back... HURRAY

HURRAY for Cadburys for bringing back the one and only Wispa...... They have been gone for years and they tried to tell us that Dairymilk Bubbly was the same but IT WASN'T. So to celebrate the other day I bought 10 and stuck them in my freezer. MMMMM wispa out of the freezer is sooooo good. Hubby bought me another 7 or so yesterday (Aint he wonderful) so well stocked up for a bit in case the limited edition runs out but I've also booked a whole box in a shops next order so whooopdy dooo i'm such a happy camper.......

I nearly cried when I had my first one last week and by god they are just like they used to be. God isn't it great that I can be so happy over a chocolate bar. Please Cadburys Dont take them away from me again..............

Strange but true

Some interesting facts for you. Just thought I'd add a few more as was watching something last night on tele which had a question about what do dolphins drink???? Nothing is the answer Most dolphins live in the ocean and the ocean water is too salty for them to drink! If they would drink sea water, they would actually use more water trying to get rid of the salt than they drank in the first place. Most of their water comes from their food (fish and squid). Also, when they metabolize (burn) their fat, water is released in the process. Their kidneys are also adapted to retaining as much water as possible. Although they live in water, they live as desert animals with no direct source of drinkable water. Sure wouldn't they go mad drinking salty sea water anyway.... LOL.

During your lifetime, you'll eat about 60,000 pounds of food, that's the weight of about 6 elephants!

Slugs have 4 noses!

Recycling one glass jar, saves enough energy to watch T.V for 3 hours!

Lightning strikes about 6,000 times per minute on this planet!

Owls are one of the only birds who can see the color blue!

The starfish is one of the few animals who can turn it's stomach inside-out!

More Monopoly money is printed in a year, than real money printed throughout the world!

The elephant is one of the few mammals that can't jump!

The penguin is the only bird who can swim, but not fly!

One quarter of the bones in your body are in your feet!

Wow!Like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different!

Another Day.... Another Shooting

Here it all kicks off again. Another shooting last night in St Marys Park. A young man in his 20's was shot at around 10.15pm last night and died from his injuries (apparently to the head). This gang fueding is spiraling more and more out of control. Who is doing something about it? Obviously if they are doing something it does not seem to be working.

Innocent people live in these areas who are not involved in these gang wars whatsoever yet they are afraid to go out in case there is a shooting and innocent bystanders get hurt. I know there is issues in a lot of areas in Limerick but I have to say i have seen no improvement in the way these people are handled. The Gardai just cant catch them yet they know who they are???? LIke that makes sense NOT. Come on what way is our society working when people cant walk out of their own homes for fear of their life.

Dexter

I hope some of you have been watching Dexter on TV.... It has got to be one of the best shows around at the moment. I myself have seen all the first season and am into the 2nd season. Just waiting for episode 3 of season two to be aquired and I will be laughing.

Dexter Morgan

If you think the first season was good then by God when you see whats going to happen in the 2nd is even more intruiging... I wont mess it up for those who are watching it currently but I just wanted to get the spoke in that episode 3 of season 2 will be available by the 14/15th october on the web...... I dont think i can wait that long

Time for Christmas

Alright People its nearly time for the Christmas spirit again...... "Bah humbug" I hear a lot of you say but I have already started the christmas shopping (and I am even a bit late this year) I always start early so it doesnt look like theres such a dent in the ole bank a/c all at the one time.

Dont you think that its getting a little over the top though. I understand that I am a bit mental doing christmas shopping and even wrapping them already but its the start of October but shops have the christmas decorations out on the floor already. Come on people we haven't even got through Halloween yet. Maybe its come to the time where there are more strange people like me out there and they are all doing their shopping already. And I thought I was the only freak who did it.

So whats on the agenda for christmas this year people????????? I hope there is large amounts of alcohol involved and lots of merry cheer. Come on ya gotta love Christmas????? RIGHT????

Rugby World Cup

Ok what in the world is going on............. England BEATING New Zealand at the weekend. This is not the way its meant to be. A big shock for a lot of us I do think and I still cant quite believe it myself but on another note fair play to Scotland who gave a fine display against Argentina but lost out in the end. They have come a long way (well further than Ireland who seems couldn't catch/pass a ball in this tournament).................... So who's going to be in the final then? At this stage it could be any but I'd like to see South Africa come out on top... Nothing got to do with the fact that the hubby has them in the family draw I swear.....................................................................

;0)

Yum Yum Dinner

Ok so I went out for dinner on Saturday night with the inlaws to a lovely little restaurant in Limerick called The Market Square. A little basement restaurant but I must say the atmosphere and layout of the place was really nice. Thought it was going to be a little bit hoity toity but no it was very relaxing but also the staff were very professional.

Now to the food oh my sweet mother of god......... It was just fabulous. Done in the way you asked for it and piping hot out of the kitchen. Now for all you wine buffs you would have loved this place with the most expensive bottle of wine at a staggering €600 a bottle. NO JOKE I tell no lies. Where would you be going or who the hell would you be to buy wine at €600 a bottle. I tell you you would not be eating in a basement restaurant anyway LOL.

All things considered it was a lovely night and would definately recommend it to others if going out for a meal in limerick at any stage. Must try get the hubby to take me out there again in the near future.......................Hint hint nudge nudge Mr......................

Cartoons

Do you think its funny to actually get re attached to cartoons you used to watch as a kid. Even though my little one loves Tom and Jerry and Little Bear on the TV.... whats my excuse for watching them when she isn't around or gone to bed?

Could it be bringing me back to my childhood in to a safe zone or am I just cuckoo......... Thinks its probably the latter but at the same time how much trouble can I be causing if I am at home watching cartoons LOL :0)

Welcome

Well this is my first attempt at this and since i enjoy reading some of the other most interesting blogs out there I decided to try my own. Hope you enjoy..........................Not much time today but will def get cracking over the weekend.
